 Steven conducted our ceremony for us in December 2023. He was absolutely incredible. We can’t stop talking about it! During the planning process he was a pleasure to work with and created the ceremony of our dreams. He had drafts for us very quickly, and kept in touch the whole way through. He truly highlighted our story as a couple and incorporated everything that we had discussed. He even made a last minute change happen for us to accommodate a unique idea. It was a beautiful ceremony filled with smiles, humour, laughter, and true, raw emotion. He made us feel so comfortable standing up there on our wedding day.  Steven was brought to our attention by word of mouth as a recommendation for our celebrant. And on meeting him we could understand why he came so highly recommended. From the very first contact he was extremely professional incredibly friendly and very engaging; he took the time to thoroughly explain how a celebrant service works, he warmly welcomed us into his home and guided us in creating our own vows and took the time over tea and yummy cake to find out as much about us as he could, so he could deliver a personal service. On our wedding day he was a commensurate professional and delivered the service with warmth and humour it felt so very special and personal to us and our family and friends.  Planning a wedding is a daunting task. There are so many people and places to coordinate and book. We chose to have a small wedding ceremony followed by a full ceremony in front of family and friends with a reception afterwards. That meant finding someone to host the ceremony. We found Steven's profile online and after checking availability, booked an introduction. Steven came across kind, compassionate and patient. Exactly the kind of person we needed to help us on our big day. Without hesitation we hired Steven who in turn set in motion a well structured plan for designing our ceremony. Over the course of a few informal chats Steven got to know us, our family and our history. For the next few weeks Steven asked more questions and patiently waited for us to provide answers and ideas for some readings. In the meantime Steven took the time to travel to our venue, meet our wedding planner and generally familiarise himself with how the day, and our ceremony would work. Steven kept us up to date with his progress and responded to our requests and queries quickly. We opted not to proof read the full ceremony script, to leave something as a surprise for our big day. I am so glad we did. Steven was already at the venue by the time we had arrived and had everything set up, making the final coordinations with our photographer and wedding planner. The ceremony went without a hitch and Steven's words were a perfect reflection of our relationship and provided a fantastic celebration of our marriage. To anyone who is looking to hire a celebrant, Steven made it a wonderful experience from start to finish, his professionalism and passion for what he does shone through to produce a heart warming and memorable day. We couldn't thank him enough and would recommend his services without hesitation.

 Good morning! I just wanted to take sometime out of our honeymoon to thank you from the bottom of my heart ( Taylor ) for looking after me and checking in with me throughout the ceremony, You really helped me over come the overwhelming feeling and kept me focus.  Dear Steven, Hi, I just wanted to write and say thanks again for our ceremony last weekend. Ellen and I spent the days after the wedding with my family on the Suffolk coast, and now that they're back in America we have some time to reflect on the wedding and write some thank yous. As I said on the day, we both thought the ceremony was utterly perfect, and your text was beautiful. To be honest, I've never been that impressed with the officiants at friends' weddings -- I haven't liked their writing, or I've thought their presentation was wooden or, worse, self-centred. You were really excellent. It was fun but solemn, poetic and authentic. You have a gift. Thank you for your flexibility, for being on top of everything, for your attention to detail, for everything. People who told me the wedding would go by quickly were right, but people who told me not to ask too much of it were not; Ellen said to me earlier today that though nothing has really changed about our relationship, our wedding was transformational. It has given us a feeling of being rooted in a community, it has created new friendships, and it has given a new start to my relationship with my siblings. We both felt represented in everything that happened during the day, and everything we did and said felt authentic and meaningful. A lot of that is to do with your words and your poise. You made getting married a beautiful thing. I'm really grateful and we couldn't be happier.  Hi Steven, We had the most stunning day which was kicked off with a service we are extremely proud of, helped enormously by your presentation of the service which was so warm, it was just absolutely lovely and set us at ease straight away. Unusually for me I had practically no nerves, just a feeling of total positive emotion and excitement. I'd really thought I'd be a total state but held it together, amazingly! There is no one we would have wanted in your place, thank you so much! I'd like to share a comment from my Dad if you don't mind.  The Most wonderful Wedding Ceremony From our first pre-wedding meeting we knew Steven was going to be the perfect person to carry out our ceremony. His guidance and enthusiasm was truly amazing and we knew we were going to be in good hands on the day. Roll forward to the our wedding day and our thoughts were confirmed. Steven’s positive and calming presence put us at ease immediately. He delivered our service with deep feeling and joy and his smile throughout was infectious. We could not keep count of the number of people who said what a lovely wedding ceremony Steven gave us and how beautifully it was delivered.  Well our wedding day has passed as it was on Friday 17th June and it was the best day of our lives !! Everyone has made us feel so very special throughout the journey and it will stay with us forever . I expect Steven tells every bride that they look lovely - but I felt on top of the world when he complimented me and he was so good when I choked up during my vows.
